The Special Seminar Series was established in the winter of 2007 to provide an opportunity for the University to highlight specific areas of research. The focus of the spring 2008 seminars is "Evolution, Ecology and Ethology." In future seasons, the topical focus of these seminars will change based on campus interest. The series also includes speakers from all areas of research with potential interest to our ongoing, open faculty search. Seminars are typically held on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in the reading room on the second floor of Welch Hall and are preceded by a tea reception at 3:45 p.m.
